The Pet Children

I absolutely love family get togethers and this is why – I get to see the girl’s dogs. We don’t have any dogs, so when they bring their dogs home with them, the dogs become mine – at least for a little while. I take them for walks, clean up after them, play with them, and then send them home.

This is Bonnie Blue – she is a Chihuahua and weighs just over 3 lbs. Isn’t she the cutest? She’s about 7-8 yrs old.

 

 

 

 

 

This is Phoenix – a golden retriever mix. Phoenix was a rescue dog; she’s the best dog ever. I love her muzzle and eyes and really fluffy tail – which wags all the time – we call her “macaroni”. She’s about 5 yrs old. Love walking Phoenix, but every once in a while she tries to go after a squirrel. She’s getting better about that.

 

 

 

And then there’s Jonny – my daughter with the Chihuahua got married this past August, and we brought her husband’s dog into our “pack”.  He’s as big as a horse and extremely strong – he’s very protective – he’s great. I enjoy walking him, because he keeps right up with you.
